The Dalai Lama said ""I believe that the very purpose of life is to be happy"". The Buddhist believe that all sentient being have one thing in common ""the desire for happiness"". This inspires people to live a less stressful life and to try and lessen the burden s of others as well.

On a different note Mother Teresa replied when ask ""If god is so powerful how come he has not allowed a cure for cancer"" She replied ""Because the person who was going to come up with the cure was aborted"". This inspired a new view on the laws of man verses the laws of spiritual doctrines.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
