Which port of entry better- Detroit airport or Windsor/Detroit tunnel?

You can take the Windsor Transit bus across the Border. The Bus is full on Game day. Https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9wvKVuF... Crossing the Border works like crossing the Border anywhere else.

You show your Identification. You answer the questions and then proceed on your way if allowed to Pass. You use the Tunnel or pay a Billionaire a TOLL to use His Bridge.

Over the River. The exchange rate changes day to day. At this time for Canadians many things are more expensive.in the USA.

As the Detroit area has a much larger Population than the area on the Windsor side there are things in stores not available for sale in Windsor. Many US companies do not pay the extra costs to ship to Canada.. For a night out crossing the Border both ways can take an hour or more of waiting in line. Not something you want to do every time you go out.

Because of where the roads go The people of Windsor do put up with a lot of truck traffic waiting to cross the Border. The New Bridge will help with that. For obvious reasons the Michigan Billionaire that owns the existing one does not like the idea of some competition to his Toll Revenue.
