A simple java code like that would need a database to convert look up for translation. Simplest would be to use the database with a table for each language and store the corresponding words for greeting , salutations then output the translation by looking up in the database. I agree with the user not in figures but the program which translates between languages won't be "simple java code" that too when it supports multiple languages.
Here is some guide code:- http://www.cis.upenn.edu/~matuszek/cit59... or you can use google API http://code.google.com/p/google-api-tran...
Figure out how to run your text through Google translate. Google has spent a bazzilion dollars on this problem, and they haven't solved it yet. But they are probably closer than anyone else today.
If you can solve it with a simple Java code...then you too can be rich. But I doubt you can. So just figure out how to leverage what Google has already done.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
