More than 20 hotels on Disney property, none of them "in" the parks Okay, let's get some terminology straight before we go anywhere else... "Walt Disney World" == 47 sq mile area of Central Florida, near the city of Orlando, 100% owned and operated by the Walt Disney Company, consisting of four theme parks, two water parks, two shopping/nightlife districts, more than 20 hotels, four golf courses, two mini-golf courses, and more. "Magic Kingdom" == one of the four theme parks in Walt Disney World. It was the first one built at WDW, in 1971.It bares a strong resemblance to the original Disney park, Disneyland in California.
"Theme park" == any one of the four major gated pieces of land that requires an admission ticket. They are The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. Now then.
The direct answer to your question is "None of the hotels are in any of the theme parks". As I said, there are more than 20 hotels in Walt Disney World. Some of them are within walking distance to one or more parks.
Some of them require you to drive or take Disney transportation (bus, boat, or monorail) to get to the parks. There are three hotels on the "monorail line". From any of these three, you can take the monorail directly to the Magic Kingdom, as the monorail stops at (and in one case, in) your hotel.
They are the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, and Contemporary resorts. The Grand Floridian and the Contemporary are also within walking distance to the Magic Kingdom, if you don't feel like waiting for the monorail. Also in the same general area are the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campgrounds, and the Wilderness Lodge.
From either of these resorts, you can take a ferry boat to the Magic Kingdom. There are five hotels in the "Epcot Area". Both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios are within walking distance from each of these resorts, or you can take a boat that goes between the two parks with stops at each of the five resorts.
They are: Boardwalk, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Swan, and Dolphin. For all other hotel->park transit, you're going to take a bus to and from. The remaining resorts are: Carribean Beach, Coronado Springs, Port Orleans French Quarter, Port Orleans Riverside, Pop Century, All Star Music, All Star Sports, All Star Movies, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Old Key West, Saratoga Springs, and a series of five or six non-Disney hotels located across the street from Downtown Disney.
I hope that helps answer your question. Have a magical vacation! :-) Sources: Walt Disney World obsession MrItty's Recommendations The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2008 (Unofficial Guides) Amazon List Price: $19.99 Used from: $11.20 Average Customer Rating: 4.5 out of 5 (based on 52 reviews) .
The Contemporary......... .........is literally within walking distance, and has a paved walkway from it to the front gates of the Magic Kingdom. This is what it looks like, if you’re not familiar with it. As you can see, the monorail runs right through the middle of the hotel.
I took these pictures when my husband and I stayed there. You can take the monorail in a big circle around a lake from the hotel right to the gates of the Magic Kingdom. I took this "zoom" view picture of the Magic Kingdom from our room’s balcony at the Contemporary...... At night we could sit on the balcony and watch the evening’s fireworks. It was awesome!
Best seat in the house! And we avoided all the crowds. The room itself wasn’t all that different than most hotel rooms, but I was fascinated by the bathroom sink.
Perhaps I’m too easily fascinated, but I thought it rated a picture anyway. :> There are gift shops and restaurants (for all ages) within the Contemporary as well. If the Contemporary isn’t your style, there are several other hotels close by, all linked to the front gate of the Magic Kingdom by the monorail.
Google Disney Hotels and you’ll see a complete list. I hope this helps, and enjoy your trip! :> Sources: My experience Google Map View Larger Map I would highly recommend the Contemporary!

There are three There are three hotels in the Disney World park on the monorail. Clockwise (the way the monorail runs around the lake) they are The Contemporary, The Polynesian and The Grand Floridian which is closest, one monorail stop away, and also the nicest and most expensive. We’ve stayed at the Polynesian once and the Grand Floridian twice.
There are lots of other hotels in the Park but they are farther away and don't have monorail service. Disney's Contemporary Resort The Contemporary is technically closet to the Magic Kingdom, but is along the Monorail along with the Ticket and Transportation Center, the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian. If you were to stay at the Contemporary, you would get on the Monorail, stop at the Ticket and Trasnportation Center, then stop at the Polynesian, then stop at the Grand Floridian and your final stop would be the Magic Kingdom. If that is the park you were intending on going to.
Of course, at the beginning of your day, if you’re headed to the Magic Kingdom, you’ve got the longest ride to get there. But, at the end of the day, you’re the first stop. So there are pluses and minuses. It’s also not the most beautiful of your three choices of hotels in the Magic Kingdom area, my personal favorite is the Grand Floridian, but again, at the end of a 14 hour long day in the park, a quick ride, even if it is only a few minutes shorter than the others, is a really nice thing.

Disney's Contemporary Resort Disney’s Contemporary Resort is the closest hotel to the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. It is a fairly quick walk from the Contemporary to the Magic Kingdom. You can actually get there faster by walking than taking the monorail but the monorail is nice to take since you circle Walt Disney World going through Epcot and some of the other resorts before arriving at the Magic Kingdom.
I’ve stayed at the Contemporary and it is a very nice hotel. The California Grill on the top floor is excellent and it is great to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks form the rooftop of the Contemporary. .. Have a great trip!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
