Anyway, it wasn't just that... it was the realization that these people get paid entirely too money to play a game. Most of them are ungrateful whiners. Only a handful of these athletes do something good with their fame and wealth, but most squandor it.

I do know the Pats are unbeaten, and that their coach got busted cheating earlier this year. But all coaches cheat. He just happened to get caught.

I will not be surprised if Eli Manning gets a championship ring this year around... not because people are expecting the Giants to lose, but because there are obvious other powers at work. Call me an idiot. I don't care.

I don't follow any sports. I'm from New England so I supposed I should have known they were in the Super Bowl. I didn't know when it was until I read the answers to layyla's question about the date.

I guess I should have been aware that the Red Sox were in the World Series sometime before the last game. But I couldn't tell you what the comparable events are in basketball or hockey. When I still lived in Connecticut, sometimes I was vaguely aware of what was going on with UConn's women's basketball team during March Madness because there was no way to escape it at work.

But sports in general? Nope, not me. And I count myself among the fortunate not to be a sports widow either.

Seriously, I know that much (what the SB is-tennis,right?) and that's it's being played this Sunday, mainly due to hearing the news. However, I'll admit to not knowing (or caring) which teams are playing. Well into my teens I was severely asthmatic and could barely walk 100 feet without hitting on my inhaler, much less play at team sports.

Unlike many in that situation, I never developed a vicarious interest either. It's never been an issue, except for a few years when I worked at a trucking company.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
