I am 50 years old, I have served in an elected office for eight years. I voted Republican my whole life and have seen the party slip away from my beliefs. This year for the first time I intend to vote principle instead of of party.
Ron Paul had to go with the Republican party because most Americans do not really care enough to research who they vote for. Secondly Ron Represents the core beliefs of the Republican party the way it used to be. I believe in diplomacy and promoting business opportunities before war, I believe in being fiscally responsible and thinking about our future.
I believe that all our citizens are equal and trying to drum up hatred and mistrust between us is unpatriotic. So I am going to my republican caucus and share my beliefs. The right wing religious zealots and war mongers and Muslim haters will likely shut me down but I intend to abandon my party and write him in on the ballot if I have to.
America could take back our government but we need moderate Democrats that love peace and common sense and fiscal responsibility to help for that to happen.
You are 100% right! While the other politcians are talking in circles about what may or may not be done and vague ideas on how something COULD be accomplished, Ron Paul comes straight out says what the problem is and how to fix it. He understands that the country was built off the idea of Freedom, if someone disagrees than leave the country.
He also understands that we are not an all powerful country that will never go away. We are a country just like any other and we can and will fall if not handled correctly. He is the only candidate serious on spending and knows WHY we spend too much.
--- I can talk about the good doctor all day but I will cut myself short. Ron Paul 2012!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
