Who can port their Mobile Dialing Number (MDN)?

Any wireline or wireless customer is eligible to port a number as long as they meet a few pre-validation criteria. A customer's number must be included in the rate center where their number resides (based on the rate center assigned to the number). In addition, the Old Service Provider (OSP) must give approval to port the number before the number can be ported (though carriers are forbidden from holding up ports except to confirm customer validation).
