Among the top three I would have to say Romney. To me Romney looked the most poised and confident. Giuliani was a bit hesitant at times and seemed to be trying to waffle on some of his positions.
McCain was also a bit hesitant at times and on the question where he tried to look fierce talking about how Osama was going to die he looked stupid because just after he finished he broke in to a silly grin. Of the lesser-known candidates I would say that Jim Gilmore did the best job. In a primary race that is dominated by very conservative voters he hammered away on the less than conservative records of the top three and nailed them on their flip-flopping.
If Fred Thompson doesn’t get into the race Gilmore may end up being the conservative alternative to which ever of the top three guys that takes an early lead. Sources: my opinion .
I think McCain did the best in the debate last night. I think he made the boldest move by moving more towards the center by criticizing the handling of the war and supporting stem cell research. The truly authentic McCain is really impressive to a wide array of voters, including conservative and independent voters.
Personally, the only thing I think McCain has going against him is his age and health concerns. Sources: My opinion.
2 I apprectiate the answers but respectfully disagree with Nikki. I quote directly from blog "Oh Well: a Commentary on News and Politics" by Eric Hopp: "The first question that moderator Chris Matthews posed to McCain was what would McCain need, as commander in chief, in order to win the Iraq war? McCain's answer was that he needed the support of the American people in order to show them some success in Iraq, and that the U.S.Was winning the war in Iraq.
McCain was reiterating the same, tired, old, Bush administration argument that the U.S. Was winning the war in Iraq, but with the rather strange twist in claiming that he needed the American people's support for him to continue the war in Iraq, even though the American people have shown that they do not support President Bush's war in Iraq, and want a withdrawal timetable. In a strange sense, McCain is demanding that the American people support his policies on Iraq, which have essentially been the same as the Bush administration policies. " .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
