A two-state solution is the only way it can work, assuming that you believe that Israel has a right to exist. The Israelis are up-to-date people, comparable to any first-world democracy. Their people are educated and make positive contributions to the world.
The Palestinian Arabs are not really any different than Arabs anywhere else. They are living in the Middle Ages, and do not have any particular interest in democracy nor human rights. Their country would be corrupt, hostile, and incapable of being comparable to the first-world.
It would just be another messed-up Arab country with petty hostilities, and inability to govern effectively. If Israel insists on maintaining its occupation of the West Bank, it will become majority Muslim and Arab; and the two ethnicities (Jews and Arabs) will not effectively work together as one country; thus it will degenerate into an apartheid system.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
