American politics are too hard to predict. I certainly can't do it. I can say that everybody wants Ron Paul right now, so the Republicans will probably not try very hard.
They would rather have 4 more years of Obama than see Paul in the White House. Ron Paul actually wants to cut taxes.
I believe obama will win, especially if the gop doesn't get their act together and arive at a serious candidate. There will still be a large number of pinwheels around who will question his birth, educational credentials, etc. Wasting time and energy which should be spent dealing with the serious problems we face.
Obama will win because the Republican Party is too splintered right now. The Tea Party is to blame for this in my mind. I think the election will be close though.
I wrote a hub recently arguing that Obama is likely to win the election in 2012. It's a combination of his incumbency, an unimpressive and poorly organized Republican field, and the fact that most voters will believe he has done a pretty decent job with a number of issues. He also killed bin Laden, which is very significant symbolically.
I do think that President Obama will be re-elected. The Republican field will suffer, I think, from a much deeper disdain for Republican inactivism in Congress than they think exists. They keep playing to their base, and are likely to have difficulties among independents.
Of course, there's lots of time for things to shift, and I could be wrong.
I think Romney is going to pull through and take the GOP nomination, and then go on to beat Obama in the general election. Not that I like Romney so much, but just because he is the "default" and everything seems to come back to the question "Romney or not Romney" on the GOP side. I think he'll beat Obama in the general election because the economy is bad.
Regardless of who is in office and what they've done, a bad economy is always terrible for incumbents. In this case, I think Obama has done enough to deserve to be voted out, but that's not always the case.
I think Obama is going to win. Personally I don't think it will make too, too much of a difference which big candidate wins. Both the Democrats and Republicans have moved to far to the right for my tastes.
Herman Cain has the best shot at this point, I just don't see Obama garnering enough support, especially from his now apathetic demographic of young supports that made such an impact nearly four years ago.
Barrack Obama of course, he will win for a second term, he is really doing his best to get things done the way they are suppose to be.
Secularist10Even though Barack Obama shouldn't take credit for the death of Osama bin Laden because there were hundreds of people who actually conducted the operation from start to finish, it will be a very significant symbol in the next election. You are absolutely right.
It will undoubtedly be someone I don't like. It always is. There hasn't been a good president in my lifetime and I have been voting since 1972 so we're going back to Eisenhower.(I was born in 54)Neither the Republicans or the Democrats are going to do anything good or fix any of the nations problems.
I will vote for the Libertarian candidate, probably going to be R. Lee Writes. Unless it turns out to be a closet Republican like Bob Barr; what a disappointment.
The only Republican I would even consider voting for is Ron Paul. I won't vote for Obama.
Don't know who, as long as it's not RobinObamaHood and his merry band of thieves! It's ridiculous that many people have been hood-winked into the hype that "Obama killed Bin laden. " The only thing that he did after our intelligence people found the Devil was approve the killing!
That's like saying Harry Truman won WWII. But, there will be many Gullible voters that will be impressed with that action, about the only positive thing he's done while in office.
If Obama doesn't buy the electoral college, I think that Ron Paul will win, and so far I don't see any better candidates. Though I am continually watching to see who else appears in the race.
Obama planned the timing of kill Bin Laden so that the Patriot Act is renewed four more years - while he is in Europe. Vote for Sarah Paline - the Earth is supposed to end anyway.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
