Who Invented the Metric System?

John Wilkins who was the first secretary of the Royal Society of London back in 1668, was the first person who thought of the idea of the metric system.

Metrication, metric conversion, and other Metrication matters: Who invented the metric system. The metric system is invented by the French and I mean to remember that Napoleon prescribed the metric system to all his occupant countries (including the netherlands at that time) I think for the metric system being French, was the main reason that the English nobles didn't adopt it.... :P.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
