Who said the devil is ugly... Is our perception of the devil false?

It is my understanding, or my belief that the devil is not ugly at all, rather the opposite. I feel that the devil would be rather good looking and luring in his charms. The devil makes you want to give in to the temptation that is sin.

The devil would make you lust after him, because that’s all he wants… For you to sin for him.

I agree with a lot of the above answers. Lucifer was beautiful. It makes sence that he would be alluring in order to seduce a human.

The popular vision of the devil is based on deception, a slight of hand if you will. The image of the devil that we see now was created when the early 'Christians' took the horns and cloven hooves of the Greek god, Pan; the red skin of the Egyptian deity, Set; and the trident from the Greek deity, Poseidon. It has been related that Lucifer, AKA. Satan was Thee most beautiful of all of God's Angelic creations, and that he challenged God's supreme authority, pridefully seeing himself equal to God or as God. The devil is not ugly. That was man's interpretation of what they thought the devil looked like. Of course, had they taken the time to read the Bible, they would have found the truth of the matter...satan is beautiful, and not at all ugly.

I have read NOWHERE that the physical appearance of Lucifer EVER changed! He was the most physically beautiful angel created by God. He still retains that visage!

This is interesting. The Catholic church has long been a producer of drawings and paintings that depict Satan and his demons as grotesque beings with contorted animal/humanoid features. If the opposite is true.

Namely that Satan is really beautiful to look at. Doesn't that mean that the Church has been putting their followers in jeopardy. I mean who's looking out for beautiful devils and demons?

Everyone expects them to show up as these grotesque animal/human things. Yes the devil is beautiful to look at and so are his demons. This is the great deception along with the belief that the devil doesn't exist...MMMMmmwwwaaaaaahah..haaahhhaahahahahah.

Well when they were Angels the demons were beautiful, but now they are gross and need to be destroyed for their ugliness. Their manifestations during history have always been portrayed as ugly to the human eye, Not only their appearance is gross but also their manners and habits are evil and this also is a manifestation of their character, murder, rape, hate, etc. They deceive humans, and the mind is the play ground. He the Boss of demons Satan the Devil caused all false religions, all because he wants to deceive and make people blind to the truth, because he is a liar.

So you have Truth v Lies, Evil v Good. God v Satan, obviously Satan is always the loser. He lost first round when he was tossed to the earth by God.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
