I think that India got it right, Prince Charles, spoke for the Queen, as the head of the Commonwealth and patron of the games, then the Indian President, as the head of the host nation, declared the games open. There is some sort of thought that, perhaps, the Chairman of the Commonwealth Games Committee should open the games; however, as the committee made fools of themselves by not removing footwear in a Shrine (Gandhi? ) on Saturday, they didn't deserve the honour.
It had been the Queen, she should and she was doing so far in all the commonwealth games, so Prince did it for her...
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
