Who should have won the Nobel Peace prize this year?

Yes I knew that Liu Xiaobo won. I saw it on the News. He did fight for decades of human rights.

He is currently serving a 11 year old jail term. S name is not being publicize in China because the Chinese government is trying to keep it a secret. The fact that he was considered for a Nobel Prize is seen as an obscene gesture by the government.

On the other hand, the complaints about President Barack Obama was highly publicize last year because most of his opponents were angry because he had recently won the presidency and was considered a freshman president . S opponents felt he got an award before he proved himself as a competent president. addisvoice.com/2010/10/jailed-chinese-di....

Last year there were countless complaints about the Nobel Peace prize winner, despite the fact that none of the complainers looked up anything about the matter. This year there are no complaints on Mahalo. Without looking it up, do you know who won?

What did the winner do to further world peace? Perhaps it's giving too much of a clue, but I for one neither can remember the name nor do I think the winner did anything whatsoever for world peace. Not the person';s fault, but still if the prize is for actually doing something then why was it awarded so?

And if it is not why the complaints last year about someone who actually achieved a lot? Last year there were countless complaints about the Nobel Peace prize winner, despite the fact that none of the complainers looked up anything about the matter. This year there are no complaints on Mahalo.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
