Iago is one of the greatest villains in literary history. He plays everyone like a violin. A genius character written by a genius writer.
I can't go as far as you do with it and say this is a comedy, but I will say that Othello is a gullible fool blinded by jealousy and love, and Iago knew EXACTLY how to pull his strings. I've only played Iago in a short scene when I was in college, but it's a dream of mine to one day play him on stage. God, I love Bill the Bard.PS: maybe this is me getting a little too picky, but Othello is a play not a novel.
Sorry. I'm a stickler :).
As for Iago - everyone likes the charismatic bad guy. Shakespeare understood this well.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
