Considering how many Muslims have lived through history, an incredibly low percentage of them have ever accomplished anything important. Says a lot about their educational process and Sharia Law which inhibits mental growth among other things.

An American Muslim is considered by many to be the greatest fighter of all time, and has been greatly admired by both Muslim and non Muslim Americans. A Muslim woman from Iran was awarded the Nobel prize for her work defending human rights.
A Persian Muslim made discoveries in science and mathematics which were critical for later discoveries. A young Muslim woman from Pakistan has been an inspiration to people the world over for her commitment to human rights. Rowing across the Pacific is nice.
But the accomplishment's affect on others is limited.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
