Who were Shadrach Meshach and Abednego?

They were the Persian names given to the 3 Hebrew children; Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah were their names in Hebrew. The story about them is found in Daniel chapter 1. They were thrown into a fiery furnace for not worshiping an image of King Nebuchadnezzar, and God protected them.(This account is in Daniel chapter 3).
