The Tea Party we know today is counterfeit. In 1997 Alex Jones and others protested the U.N. and the corrupt government. Everything they were talking about then has come to fruition today.
There was even a guy holding a sign that said "Abolish the Federal Reserve." That was the true grassroots activism that started 13 years ago. Now the NEO -Cons are trying to co-opt the TEA Party movement, when they know good and well Ron Paul and his moneybomb back on December 16th, 2007 was the rebirth of the grassroots Tea party Alex Jones and others started years ago.
Now Ron Paul has Republicans running against him in his primary in Texas that claim they are in support of the TEA Party. BS.
Over 80% of black people consistently vote for the Democrat candidate. Something like 95% of gay/lesbian voters vote for Democrats. A large portion of the Tea Party is Republican.
The whole point of the Tea Party is that they are fighting for fiscal responsibility, something that is more of a Republican concern than Democrat concern. Why do you think it is odd that people vote for the party that is closest to their values? Or have you been brainwashed into thinking of Republicans and the Tea Party as big bad evil meanies?
Please tell me you are not that simplistic that you still resort to villanizing and stereotyping people with different ideas than you do.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
