I think that in general, unless you have one team with a superiorly high potent offense, that the team with the best defense in the division will win it. In this division, I like the Baltimore Ravens, because I think both offensively and defensively they are superior to the rest of the teams. They scored 391 points and gave up just 261, both best in the division.
The Cincinnati Bengals do not high powered on offense but were sixth in the National Football League in fewest points allowed. They will play many close, low scoring games. I just feel in any game they play where somehow they need a lot of points to win, that they won't be able to pull them out.
The Pittsburgh Steelers could be in trouble with all their offseason turmoil as you mentioned. For them to win they will have to play old "Steel Curtain" type of defense, which they didn't display last year giving up 20 points per game. The Cleveland Browns will continue to be at the bottom of this division.
I am sure they can improve on a 5-11 record, say perhaps 7-9 but that won't be enough to overtake the Steelers or Bengals for third in the division.
This is one heck of a hard hitting division. The Steeler defense is back and in full black and blue mode. When Ben does get back watch out.
This massive squad of talent and ability to bring the pain will most definitely win this division. Pittsburgh is notorious for slow starts and strong finishes so with an early 2-0 record without big Ben watch out. Baltimore will give many teams fits this year and pull through for a playoff spot with another bruising defense and some new toys for Flacco to throw to.
Cincy just doesn't seem to be there. As much as everyone likes what they have to bring to hte table, I still believe they are a work in progress. Palmer just downst seem to be a super bowl QB.As for Cleveland, well what can you say, NOTHING and again, NOT THIS YEAR.
1 Pitt 11-5 2 Baltimore 10-6 3 Cincy 10-6 miss playoffs 4 Cleveland 5-11.
I actually think it's about time for the New England Patriots to be knocked out of the top spot in the division. They've had a great run but I believe the New York Jets can take over. Mark Sanchez is only going to continue to improve and like you said, their defense has been good and is only going to be better.
The Miami Dolphins should be a better team with Chad Henne having some experience under his belt. He appears to have real good leadership qualities and is a big, strong kid with good smarts and a good arm. For the Dolphins to be serious contenders though, they need to improve on the defensive side of the ball where they gave up 390 points last season.
The Bills will most likely continue to bring up the basement in this increasingly tough division.
I think the San Diego Chargers are clearly the class of the division, if not the entire American Football Conference | AFC. The Denver Broncos have a solid defense, but could improve a bit on the 20 points per game they allowed last year. If they can do that and get more consistent play from their offense, they could be a contender, but don't see them as having enough to overtake the Chargers. It's amazing that the Oakland Raiders even won five game considering they scored only 197 points for the entire season.
They have the worst offense in the National Football League | NFL. On the flip side of the coin, the Kansas City Chiefs might be the worse defensive team in the NFL. Barring a miracle, neither will do anything but battle for the basement in 2010.

Well, last year the San Diego Chargers proved they were the best in the AFC West once again, but feel short in the playoffs to the Jets. Do they have what it takes this year now that L.T. is gone? Or will someone else take the West?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
