Who would marry a pathological liar?

Oh boy, this is a quite the question. Anyone of us could! Pathological liars are really good at just that ... lying!

They are masters of deception. They could sell the Brooklyn Bridge to England in the blink of an eye. They are cunning, but mainly in denial of their own inadequacies In many ways they are harmless, but not so in hurting and misleading those that love them.

If you know one, stay clear! If you don't know one consider yourself lucky Happy New Year Marcy Answer I'm not sure of the reason for this question, but having married one I can say, in agrerement with the person above, that absolutely anyone could marry a pathological liar without realising it. I married a man who lied about everything, from the mundane, to the serious (a phantom diagnosis of cancer being the most serious).

Their lies are often such that we really don't expect them to be lies, they just seem plausible. Well, I have since separated, after having two children with the man, and been contacted by his first wife. Not only did he also tell her he had cancer, he also lied about having a previous family who died in a car crash (all made up).

Other lies he told both of us were lies about status, upbringing, his family, money issues. You name it, he lied about it. He definitely doesn't see he has a problem and looking at the symptoms, we think he may also be a narcissist or possibly a sociopath.

I also wouldn't be suprised if he went on to marry another unsuspecting 'victim'. She will also be normal, intelligent, and probably perfectly capable of marrying someone just as 'normal'. But she will be charmed by this apparently sound, successful man and get married believeing she is the luckiest woman in the world to have someone love her so much.

But hopefully, like his first two wives, she will get out of it before her life is ruined.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
