Definitely Jimmy Carter. He did a lot of good to keep the lid on the Middle East when he was president, something good old George W. Hasn't been able to do.
Bush had almost 3,000 Americans killed during his watch on 9/11 and know has almost 3,000 brave young Americans killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Who knows how much higher that number will go because of Bushs' policies. Plus, he really hasn't made the USA any safer.
It's only a matter of time before we'll be hit again. The conservatives who answered above hitting on Carter and then talking about how great Reagon was better go back to 1983 and check out Lebanon where over 300 Marines were killed and then Reagan had the Americans cut and run, showing the terrorist that Republican presidents had no guts therefore setting the stage for 9/11. If Reagan had stood up to them then, the terrorist might never had attacked Americans again.
Republican, right-wing conservatives=cut and run chickens, just what Bush is eventually going to do in ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
