After ‘Rachel Getting Married,’ screenwriter Lumet has a slew of projects Screenwriter Jenny Lumet gained critical acclaim for her first produced screenplay, “Rachel Getting Married,†last year. The daughter of legendary director Sidney Lumet and granddaughter of actress and singer Lena Horne, Ms. Lumet began her career as an actress and recently worked as a middle-school drama teacher in New York, a job she says she someday hopes to resume.
She is now at work on a slew of new projects, including “This Strange Thing Called Prom,†a film about international high school students who plan their school’s first senior prom. On Tuesday, Ms. Lumet and her father will talk about movies with Wall Street Journal film critic Joe Morgenstern as part of the Journal’s Summer Scoops Live series at Lincoln Center.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
