In some cultures this may be seen to be so, but not in the western one at any rate, even though you may (or may not) have your father's last name. What's a name after all? An identifier, nothing more.
You may have a man's name and not be his child at all! And even though what you state may be 'culturally' true in some places, it is not TECHNICALLY true since you inherit genes 50/50. Therefore, it is not true as making a statement that something is so because of 'belief' does not trump the truth of biology.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
