Why abled-minded people would ever want to work or start programs for the mentally disabled after making of them when they were little kids?

No, I make fun of people who act like they have mental disabilities but apparently don't. And I know someone with those problems he makes fun of other people like himself. I went to his group home a few weeks ago and he would make fun of other people with mental problems there when they do something out of the ordinary.

He's very high functioning and doesn't make unusual movements like some others do.

Because they choose to. The same reason we all do the things we wish to.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
