Yes, I know it's winter, but what factors contribute to a person's tolerance of temperature changes. I'm one of those people who usually walks around in short sleeved shirt and bare feet throughout winter. I can remember times when I have gotten cold, but always found it easy to warm up.
Tromping around in snow with no jacket was never an issue. I usually battle my husband during the winter to keep temps down in the house. Summers see me wilting in any heat.
I turn into a mushroom by my A/C vent and the thermostat must be set no higher than 68. This winter, I'm cold. I feel it in my bones, my joints, and I can't get a normal temp.
I'm either freezing or sweltering (if I turn the heat up). I've never experienced anything like this. I've worn socks for the first time in 20 years.

Health changes Many factors can cause this change and the way your body will handle temperature. Blood pressure is one. Menopause, thyroid problems and sometimes even a high humidity in the house will make you feel it in "the bones".
We could make a big list but probably going for a little visit to your doctor, a quick blood analysis (checking thyroid, cholesterol), blood pressure check will put your mind at ease. If all is OK... time to check if you have drafts in the house and make sure to fix them so you save $$ on heat and air conditioner. If that is OK that it's all in your mind and you are looking for attention.
A little wine might warm up the cockles of your heart. Happy New Year.
If your hands and feet are constantly cold, it could be poor circulation. You may want to have a blood test run, and see if it shows anything unusual.
WEEEEEEELL Let's looky here... Wooly be gentle with Mamasu...:@) Wooly stick with gentle as promised, I know your younger than I am so I really doubt age has alot to do with the temp drop. I know that the older one gets it's harder to maintain that comfortable temp zone one had younger. I was one of those crazy guys that could take of his shirt in sub frigid weather, my wife when we first met was impressed and then mad for opening the possability of getting sick.
I could sweat in a freezer, to have those days back again! I suggest a Doc visit to see which chemical is out of balance, No I'm not imlying your crazy, could be internal fuel system is low. Maybe your blood pressure is lower than normal, I have some friends that have this.
Their fingers actually turn white when they start getting cold. At your young age it's hard to place any normal functions on a decline, the best is to visit Your family Doctor and have some blood test run. That should tell him something, in the mean time... Wooly suggest hot toddy to warm Friend up..I have several a night, they are not strong but sure warm the innerds.

1 Even my husband, who gets cold if it gets below 80, is commenting on the fact that he's never seen me like this before. I'm not pleased.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
