The only border crossing for health-care is from Canada to the Us. Some Americans go to Canada for prescription drugs, none go for surgery.. Anyone who has seen the system in action when care is required immediately knows how deficient the system is.. 82% of Canadian like their system because those who died due to its many faults weren't polled.. It is odd that the Canadian system had no interest in saving the lives of both of my grandparents and both were forced to the states for care. My grandmother sold her home and moved and said she will never return to Canada, she doesn't trust the government..
When it comes to extremely unique procedures of course the US is better. Newfoundland population 2009: 510,000 or 1 person for every 1.36km. Canada simply doesn't have the population / population density to have all these procedures.
It's not a system problem, it's simply a fact that we don't have enough people. Anyway, once again I should remind America, it's about saving lives, not about pride. Canadians live longer and in better health.
They spend 5x less on healthcare for it as well.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
