Why are China and Russia supporting the Totalitarian Syrian President Bashar al-Assad?

I don't believe anything that comes from TV anymore. After all the wars and conflicts we've been through and afterwards, we always learn we were in it for the wrong reasons... I don't buy it anymore. Tell that crap to someone else know what I mean?

You do realise that if Assad is overthrown, the middle east becomes more instable which means AlQaeda will gain more power. If alqaeda gains more power they become a bigger threat to the west which gives us a better excuse to wage war against them, the USA WANT to provoke terrorism so that they can go to war and boost their defence industry. Notice how officials are saying that there is evidence of chemical weapons use in Syria, they have stopped blaming Assad though but they just don't give a s***, they'll make sure they get their stupid war despite best attemps by Assad, Russia and Europe to come up with a better strategy.

If the USA can't gain anything, they'll just veto and do whatever they like anyway so why are we even discussing it?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
