The same reason a lot of conservatives don't realize that their taxes have actually gone down not up since he took office: it's not what they want to hear. Insurance rates skyrocketed before he got into office and are continuing that trend. Maybe he inherited the rising trend from the Bush administration (kidding).
They don't know the first thing about economics. That should be obvious. I have been saying on here since before it was passed that this would be the effect of it.
Furthermore, I said and I continue to say that it is completely intentional. That bill was a Trojan Horse for Single Payer. How could anyone not understand that forcibly including millions of extremely unprofitable customers would have any effect other than to raise the cost for everyone else dramatically.
This will lead to many companies dropping their insurance coverage and will eventually kill the private insurance industry.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
