Why are malls called malls?

Because they have shops Because they have shops that was the best they could come up with they asked there 2 year old 2 name it The word Mall literally means pedestrian walkway. This is only an American name for a Shopping centre, however you can see the connection.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
