Native Hawaiians have a right to control their destiny in their homeland, as is available to American Indians and Alaska Natives. Today, Native Hawaiian assets, heritage and culture are under legal attack. By forming a governing entity, Native Hawaiians will have a collective voice and greater political strength that can be used to protect lands and trusts.

As Native Hawaiians, it is our kuleana (responsibility) to do everything we can to preserve and perpetuate our culture for future generations.
