Republicans are still obsessed with "Reaganomics". This is caused by an acute case of ignorance. There is no economic principle that says less taxes on the rich will increase wealth--in fact, more than four fifths of economists support progressive taxes.
Their platform looks something like this: 1. Cut taxes to the wealthy. 2. Magic.
3. More jobs. Logic/economic theory/empirical evidence looks more like this: 1.
Give more to the middle class. 2. People have more more money, demand goes up.
3. More jobs.
People need to do their homework. When Bush proposed his tax cuts he did it with what was called "fuzzy math". Unfortunately the Dems didn't explain what his fuzzy plan was so people understood.
The plan was to start out with EVERYONE getting a decent cut in taxes but as the years went by it was designed to increase the wealthy mans cut to sickening proportions. If you study this subject and don't judge by "spin talk" you will see what i'm saying is so and it will sicken you as well. When you hear the GOP say they NEED to keep the cuts so that the rich can HIRE people they are lying!
If that were true, they have had the cuts all along while Bush lost 600,000 jobs total in 8 yrs ...compared to Clinton who added 22 MILLION in 8 yrs sooooooooooooo WHERE ARE THE JOBS FAT CATS?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
