Why are people so close minded?

Since thousands of people have reported "space aliens" of the SAME description, it is most logical to assume that they have ALL seen the same "entity". (This is especially true in reports dating back before 1977 when the "grey alien" became a popular icon because of the "Close encounters" movie. That based its "aliens" on the reports.) So 1) we can safely assume many people have seen the same thing and 2) this/these "things" have some basis in reality.

HOWEVER--just because people report the same thing is NOT evidence that the things are actual "Space aliens"--only a common source for a description. It is also no evidence that these things are even "alive" So what can we most reasonably, logically assume, without evoking living "Space aliens"? Non living of course, and not space aliens at all, but "dummies" or animatronic machines.

For what? HOAXES of course. But why a hoax?

And since there were so many people to see it over decades WHO could pull something this BIG, expensive or elaborate off? And for what reason? ------The Government would be the only entity with the resources to pull off such a ruse.

But why? Naturally for something it feels to be very important. Preventing public panic, national security or hiding an embarrassing incident would be likely reasons.

Perhaps there was a radiation leak or contamination of the ground that people might be walking through and spreading, perhaps there is a disease that threatens the population they are trying to keep secret, Perhaps a weapons test or accident or some big agency foul up that may affect the lives of millions of people. People might have to be randomly "sampled" in secret to track or keep tabs of the situation. What better "cover" than an "Alien abduction" to hide what was really going on.

The same "Alien" dummy being used to scare and confuse the victims. And make them less likely to talk about it should the amnesia inducing drugs wear off. That is the FLAW in the plan though.

The agents use the same DUMMY, so the descriptions match---Which would not be the case if the victims were making up a "spaceman" story--100 people would describe 100 different spacemen. ---The matching descriptions, suggest the events were REAL---and logic (we don't REALLY believe in real Aliens) can fill in the rest as we have seen above. SO There are no real aliens, but there is a real "cover up" by the government that uses "alien" imagery as part of the camouflage ----And further render any witness reports nonsensical and not taken seriously--A clever idea really.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
