Why are satellite dishes concave?

Because they act as a lens which focuses the signal into the LNB. If they weren't concave, they'd just refect the signal back into the direction from which they came.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
