Why are the pilgrims told to throw stones at Jamraat?

We are running out of resources and it doesn't seem like we are going to make it to space any time soon. Can someone please enlighten me on why our most intelligent individuals are continuing what seems to be an undeniably self-destructive path? With nuclear stockpiles, trouble in the middle east, and if you care to take it into account, biblical prophesies that seem to be coming to fruition (more or less) why does it seem like all of this is being ignored.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
