Bans arent appropriate but given how important accurate impartial news is to a healthy democracy newsmedia services would have to comply with a code of conduct it wouldnt be incredibly difficult to come up with a code that enshrined what we all expect programs that wish to present opinion and push agendas would still be welcome but they would have to make clear thats what they are not so long ago there was a clear understanding in news services that facts and opinions were a separate thing newspapers for instance traditionally had editorials for opinions but the rest of the publication was a genuine attempt at impartially presenting "the news.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
