Why are there weird rumbling noises above my house?

U could maybe approach them and mention it kindly. Even say 'God the noise really travels in these flats!' If it is a rented property you could always speak to your landlord. My best friend ha problems with her upstairs neighbours having hardwood floors which in fact were not allowed because of neighbours.

Ur landlord or your factor should know about this. The only other suggestion would be to leave a radio on so the background noise will distract your dog and maybe invest in one of those plug ins. The vet suggested ths for my dog as she gets stressed quite easily.

Well, there's not much you can do about them walking but if they're playing loud music you could ask them to turn it down. I have to say that if you can hear them walking, it sounds like it is a very badly made building. Maybe the landlord can put in carpets or something.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
