Why aren't my email notifications working (anyone else experiencing this?)?

Me either @justin_time and they never have.. odd I know but I have grown to like it as I DO get email notifications from ConundrumLand for every answer, comment, and other users answers to every question thread I am involved it over there. I cannot imagine what my inbox would look like if I received an email at this rate from Mahalo and all the answers, comments, and other users answers for all of my over 2700 answers wwowoowoee what a long time it would take to filter all of that out. I have noticed from time to time that other Mahalo users mention that they are not now or maybe not ever have received an email from Mahalo regarding a question thread they are involved with so you are not the only one.. I would recommend if you would like to fix this to send an email to Corey or to contact Mahalo and they will straighten this out for you.

I even tried clicking Verify email in my account settings and didn't get an email from that. I'd encourage you to check your spam filters again or check with your IT person. I just checked our account that generates notifications, and confirmed that emails have been send to your account, including that verification email, which I show as being sent to your email 16 minutes ago with this Time/Date stamp: Mon, Apr 11, 2011 at 3:17 PM.

I learned about this issue when a colleague asked me something about this post by forwarding me the notification he got (and I didn't). Any idea what could be causing this? I'm not sure why you wouldn't have received that specific notification.

One possible solution would be to sent up a filter in your email program to never send Get Satisfaction emails to spam, but the process for setting up that filter can vary depending on what email client you're using. I just setup email notifications on my company and am not receiving notifications for replies or new topics. Are topics and replies that I create ignored? You shouldn't get an email notification for topics/replies that you create in the community.

I took a look at our email service's activity records, and it looks like your email address was added to the bounce list yesterday afternoon after a failed notification delivery attempt. I've gone ahead and removed you from the list, and I'm going to add your company email domain to the whitelist so we'll continue to delivery notifications in the event of a rejection. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
