Why arent the rich gulf arab states taking in any Syrian refugees?

No that's not true. Gulf Arabs are a bit stuck up but they aren't like that towards other Arabs. We view all Arabs as Arabs whether they are from the gulf or not.

The only difference between Arabs is we look kind of different from each other other than that we are pretty much the same.

Syrian, Egyptian and Lebanese are Arabized people, they are not originally Arabs. Yemen is the birthplace of the Arab tribes so Yemen is different.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
