They have to adjust the application At this moment the application/database with all the answers/messages/questions is (only) able to append new records, not delete a random row (= a question or answer or message). Messages It is weird that you can't delete the messages...I've never seen anyplace where you can accept messages but can't delete them. They (Askville Team) haven't enabled this software yet Nobody can delete private messages,comments etc. Yet. This is something,along with Questville that Amazon and the Askville team are still working on. I'm sure this is something that will indeed be on it's way,as youe seen the message "coming soon" when trying to delete.

I have gotten replies from the Askville Team stating that they are "bogged down" right now. This is undoubtedly due to unforseen problems after beta testing,abuse reports and most likely Questville. There is no doubt in my mind that Questville is presenting problems right now,and they will most likely get that up and running before you see many other improvements.

Questville's delay has had a somewhat negative impact on many beta testers thusfar. Many of these original Askvillers are completely inactive rigfht now. Some have even told me,via private message that they will come back once Questville launches.
