It's not up to the DA to press charges for "lost work time" or "damage to reputation", those are matters for a civil court-if he wants to collect anything for that he's going to have to hire a lawyer and sue her himself. As far as pressing charges for attempted murder or assault or whatever that's not up to the DA either-that's up to the police to investigate then they go to the DA and only then will the DA decide if there's enough evidence to proceed.
Get a restraining order. Nothing else you can do if the DA does not want to take it to trial. It's his decision.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
