Why can't liberals grasp the concept that nothing is really free?

The only ones calling anything the government provides "free" are the income-tax denying Conservatives. Those of us who are not on the Conservative side understand that programs are paid for by tax money, and that "free stuff" is a false trope that certain Conservatives have somehow come to believe in themselves. It's been a really interesting evolution of how you guys think and rationalize the world when it doesn't seem to work the way you believe it does.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
