Your premises are compeltely flawed for the foll. Reasons: - Generally, North Indians are very fair in complexion than the south indians, due to the climate, food habits (former don't consume to much spicy, hot and caffienated foods). North has many rivers and hence influenced by monsoons and fertile lands.
Complexion doesn't relate to castes. - Parents seek matrimonials/matches giving priorities to education, security and person/family's qualities/nature than complexion. - 100's of 400 vedic Rishis belong to lower-castes.
But all castes perfom daily rituals, saluting those rishis irrespective of their birth. - All hindus were said to have been created from 7 main rishis. These Rishis (Brahmins by nature) fathered all castes from different wives.
- Rama (Dark blue), Krishna (dark black) were great monarchs/kings of prosperous kingdoms. -How do you relate color with status? Alll the richmen, actors, ministers of a southern state called Tamilnadu are black and are mostly from lower castes.
Tamilnadu is hot, sunny, whether you work in the sun or in the oval office. Then how come americans who work outdoors and labour hard are very fair? Dumbee, it is the climate not the work, that makes one dark.
Those who work hard will be healthier and become fairer by sweating a lot. -Originally, Many(Rishis/Sages) were considered Brahmins due to their Nature/Qualities/Realization, not by birth. With the need for different skills for growing population, people divided themselves to focus/master different skills to educate/feed/safeguard the society.
But they still remained highly righteous. - But with more societal pre-judices, infiltrants(colonies), political trickery, masses had to adapt to less spiritual practices, the original intent of Class System was de-moralised into race system. The Class System/Organization has helped India and Hinduism profoundly.
It is like the departmental organizations in a company. Moghuls made us poor, British created caste divisions/brahmin hatred. But, during and after the moghul and british rules, the 4 classes(highly skilled in different things) helped restore and revive hinduism indirectly.
Even politicians mis-used the caste system to their advantage and some of us are even pre-judiced about that. -Imagine even after 2000 years of foreign rule, we still have the scriptures, many architectures, majority of hindus remain with the old faith. It is their organized skill-level and solidarity that helped in the revival.
Color , status, caste were not their priorities, but to maintain their spirituality and society was their sole intent. P. S: The color/fashion/status first came with the indoctrination of British.
They forced upper castes into office-goers, educators of western school system, govt. Employees like that of census, railway, construction systems etc. Western organizational system is no different from our patriotic Class system. But the britsh required a different attire/etiquettte, which turned hindus away from their original humility towards fashions/beauty etc. There are castes naicker/nadar castes who converted to christianity simply to adopt western dress idea.
They introduced caste, status, position in their job system. Earlier it was only a skill and responsibility system.
I'm guessing that the people of India are receiving a very very strong influence from either Europe or the US, which is causing the dark skinned Indians to want to become lighter skinned. Remember Michael Jackson?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
