Why Congress is not supporting Anna Hazare anti corruption fight ............?

I don't buy Mr. Maneesh Tewari and as such entire congress party's argument that Mr. Hazare is corrupt, however there are no doubts that Justice P B Sawant commission appointed by Supreme Court did find maladministration and corruption in the NGO run by Mr. Anna Hazare. That does not mean that Mr. Anna Hazare is involved in that. If Congress is claiming so, then with no "ifs and but s congress should also access that Dr. Manmohan Singh personally is corrupt or involved in corruption.

These are not two different cases, one one side NGO run by Mr. Hazare are found to be involved in corruption and on other side government run by Dr. Singh is found be in involved in mega scams. So Congress should not have accused Mr. Hazare that is foolishness and insane. On the part of Mr. Hazare, these talks are not new, and this case is not new.

Mr. Hazare who is fighting against corruption is doing a noble cause for the nation (though I am dead against many of his views and means but not against him), should have cleared himself from this case. He should have clarified this in public, he should have done everything to get cleared if not legally at least in public. But he failed to do so.

Mr. Hazare also included two other individuals in his core team who are accused of corruption, who are accused benefited for filing case against Mayawati. Mr. Hazare has included an individual who is accused of supporting Maoist and that is open in day light. So of course these will raise questions.

I am not going into many other points that I have already raised on this forum. However I maintain that Mr. Hazare as an individual is a good guy, and fighting for a noble cause. We should support him and also we should make sure that neither he nor we go too far.

Sukhtankar Committee has given clean chit to Anna Hazare. This committe was formed by Maharashtra govt. It was formed after Justice Sawant Committee.

If Anna was corrupt then why did the Congress ruled government honoured Anna Hazare with high civilian honours like Padmabhushan and Padmashri for his social services. If the government believes that Anna indulged in any act of corruption as per the findings of Sawant commission, then why the government never withdrew those honours.

Congress will get trapped in its own trap.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
