Nobody knows yet. Chris Brown|Chris and Rihanna attended a pre-Grammy Awards|Gammy party for Clive Davis, left after midnight, and got in some kind of argument on their way home. Whatever happened, it ended with Rihanna out of the car and Chris drove off.

We'll have to wait and hear exactly what happened. I read today that in a 2007 interview Chris Brown discussed growing up with family violence and a stepfather who beat his mother. He grew up a scared and angry kid.

Because the girl gave him herpes...if I was a dude I would have knocked her ass out...and to make it clear hes an rnb singer..not rapper..if anyones career is down the drain it would be rihanna..because she nasty and everyone knows she sleeps with everyone in the industy..google it and see what people from her home town even friends have to say about her before this whole incident even happend..

Because the people that surround a teen rap star don't really worry about the morals they are imparting upon the star, and as a result the star becomes somewhat amoral (Chris Brown|Chris, I'm talking about, not the victim) Either that or she wouldn't share her umbrella.
