Why did EA buy the NFL license and then make football games with horrible gameplay for the next generation consoles?

Because they have the licence and no one can challenge them I am sure they are making what they think will sell and make them money, but I agree the play is terrible. But since they have the exclusive licence, no one will be able to challenge them in the NFL anyway. Sources: My Opinion .

It wasn't intentional. EA has the NFL license because they are capable of making great football games. But however, once they have that license, it is a monopoly that they control.

They have no challengers (Sega) to make better football games. They get lazy because they know that however shitty their game is, it is the only football game out there. As for the next generation, they just probably didn't have time.

All of the PS3 games are rushed. The 360 games aren't as bad but still, they are probably just getting lazy.

EA bought the exclusive NFL license because it is all about the money when it comes to business. EA knew that by being the exclusive provider of NFL games they could put out a cheap game, and people will still buy it because they have no alternative. The next generation consoles' versions of the games are just ported versions from the PS2 and Xbox versions of the game.

Because EA wants no competition (2K Sports) in the football field. It doesn't matter how the game plays all those... frat boys and jocks will still buy Madden because "its the best game ever" and they don't play any other game. Madden is a joke, 2K Sports had a much better game..

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
