Because he was more interested in Angelina Jolie. Also, Aniston's movies are terrible. He was probably embarrassed going to premieres for all those awful movies.

I read several years ago she didn't want to have any children. Her movies are terrible but for some reason she makes a lot of money.

I would say the reason was because Brad Pitt wanted to see if the grass was greener on the other side and he found out it wasn't but it was too late because Jennifer moved on with her life and is making big money as an actress and model.
