Alykm slm w rhmtllh. This is not so much an issue as to what I have learned the man crucified was said to be Judas Iscariot, who in the bible was stated had committed suicide by hanging himself after he returned the 30 pieces of silver coins, the other statement from the bible said that this man bought a large parcel of land from the 30 pieces of silver coins and accidentally fell down into a deep ravine and died having his intestines burst out. Another statement from the Encyclopedia Americana said he died of an unknown disease during that time.
Judas Iscariot was known to be the treasurer of the group and Jesus (a.s.) would not be so stupid to trust such a man to occupy such delicate position. He was also known as a trained assassin who was good with knife fighting and such people were known not to be hungry for wealth as they know their days for living are uncertain. The issue now was, why was Mary Magdalene allowed to be present in the crucifixion site when only immediate family members are allowed and the females should be mother, sister,or wife.
She also went to the burial site where she bought herbs for healing the wound as the man who was crucified didn't die. Among jewish custom, it was a great issue when people of the opposite sexes touch each other unless they are immediate family members or spouse where there is a story in the bible that states Mary cleaned the feet of Jesus (a.s.). More, in their days, no one would listen to any man who would preach who was not married and they were married at a very young age there..So, the issue for both muslim and christian, was Jesus (a.s.) married?
Allaah caused a hypocrite who had betrayed 'Eesa to the Romans to look like ‘Eesa. The soldiers arrested him, thinking that he was ‘Eesa, and crucified him. But Allaah saved ‘Eesa from the cross and from death, and Allaah tells us about the Jews (interpretation of the meaning): “And because of their saying (in boast), ‘We killed Messiah ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allaah,’ — but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but it appeared so to them the resemblance of ‘Eesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts.
They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not i.e. ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary): But Allaah raised him ‘Eesa (Jesus) up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he is in the heavens).
And Allaah is Ever All Powerful, All Wise” al-Nisaa’ 4:157-158.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
