Why did Michelle Bachmann vote FOR extending the Patriot Act?

I think it's an absolute joke. The woman doesn't stand for personal liberties or freedom, she stands for her political party. Whatever the Republicans have done is all unicorns and sunshine in her eyes.

I agree with TEA Party ideals but apparently she doesn't.

I think it's going to be extended regardless. They were trying to use a maneuver that required 290 house votes, which failed by about 15. On a regular majority vote its going to get past the House.

I don't like warrantless wiretaps and federal pigs being able to give themselves a warrant on the fly.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
