It's not just the Republicans. Both Republicans and the Democratic chairman of the Senate Budget Committee objected to taking money left over from the fund that bailed out banks, automakers and insurers and using it for the jobs bill. I think most Americans are disgusted by the bank bailouts and Washington needs to get our tax money back from these clowns and then create jobs without using more taxpayer money.
Second paragraph of your own referenced article. "Democrats have no money to pay for the program. That's because both Republicans and the Democratic chairman of the Senate Budget Committee objected to taking money left over from the fund that bailed out banks, automakers and insurers and using it for the jobs bill."
Of course, you do not expect that Democrats and Obama supporters will read the article; they will just jump on your bandwagon of lies and blame the Republicans.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
