Right, having a fundamental view of government's proper role is determined by people's opinion of homosexuals. In order to oppose government health care mandates (no takeover has happened) one must be a racist homophobe, no doubt. On the other hand you could ask yourself the more basic question, who's responsibility is it to insure the survival of an individual?

Some would answer that the individual is responsible for their own survival based on the concept of freedom, which implies that our life is our own, to do with as we please. Or, they could say that it is the government's responsibility, because they determine the parameters of our lives by stopping us from doing things that are not good for us, while forcing us to do the things that are good for us.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
